Joseph was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder called Malignant Infantile Osteoporosis. This disorder causes old bone not to shed away to make room for the new bone growth that happens naturally in children.
Joseph will be traveling to Minnesota to receive a bone marrow transplant when a match is found. Joseph will be required to stay in the hospital for 100 days after his transplant.
The fund raiser is to help pay for his hospital bills.
